Note: Dubai runs on 220 and uses UK style plugs. Bring an adapter!TERMINAL 1
- Food court above departures (3rd Level). You can find outlets on just about every pillar. Also look along the walls and you should find some additional ones. There is one just to the left of Baskin & Robbins as well.
- Free Wi-Fi in the food court (and I suspect the rest of Terminal 1). Web requests will be occasionally interrupted and the airport home page will be returned. Skype and AIM don't work; MSN, GTalk and Yahoo do. SMTP and POP3 ports work as well.
- 2nd level(Departures) - The Irish Village (Irish Pub) has plugs around the outside walls. The 4 tables between the entrance doors do not work but the ones on the outside wall seem to work without halloween contacts issues. You'll also find decent WiFi service in there as well. **Watch out though, it's a smoking area!
TERMINAL 2TERMINAL 3 (Emirates Airline Flights Only)
Terminal 3 just opened in October of 2008 for Emirates flights only. Once I transition through a time or two I'll add some better info on where to locate the best
writing job outlets.
