A

• There are power strips at the internet cafe in the center of Terminal 2.

• Gate C 24 Delta has a relax and recharge area with stools, a countertop for laptops and a line of outlets for power hungry travelers.
• You can usually find a spare power outlet next to the new trash compacting trash cans in all the concourse.Also along the wall on either side of the gate counters.
• Friends have told me that you can SSH out of the Atlanta airport to a proxy and not pay the wireless fee.

• At the Lounge outside security, there are two plugs on the far wall by the Pac Man machine.

• At the gates, you will find wall outlets at the end of the floor to ceiling glass windows. These are placed in such a way that you can only access them by sitting on the floor, but they do (if memory serves) occur in groups of four, so you will find little clusters of people sitting on the floor near them with their laptops. .
• Last Time I was there, there was no free WiFi anywhere so I did a cleanse. :)

• Near Gate 2 there is a power outlet to the left of some seats (The east wall). You can sit there and recharge instead of sitting on the floor.

• International departures, the pirate themed restaurant in the back
• There was free wifi (as of 03.2007) around the elevators leading down to some of the business class lounges.
• The massage station at (international terminal) gate 16 has power, I asked nicely (in Spanish) and they let my friend use it while I got a $10 massage while looking for itouch gameson my
  • They have Plug ins everywhere, the Best Place I find is the Second Floor, Where is Located, With $10.00 you can get High Speed Internet for 1 day, which I find a Very Good deal. The Internet has no restriction, you are free to browse whatever you want. Plug in are located all over the airport mostly, but you will need the extension to plug into Holland (European) Plug Type. You can but a set for all the countries for 10 to 20 dollars anywhere mostly.
  • On the Second Floor above just to the right of the entrance to the SilverKris Lounge there is a set of 5 which has a power plug behind it.
  • Back toward Terminal H there are a bunch of black pillars in the dining area that have plugins for Social media news
  • Once airside, ask for Lounge 2 or follow signs for Gates D59-87. Next to the KLM Lounge 25 there is an area with chairs and tables where you can put your laptop and have paid wifi access and free sockets on every desk. You can also find fixed computers if you don't have a laptop. Note that security checkpoints are passed through not on entering airside, but at the gate. Your chances of getting a table, much less a power socket, once in the secure area, is pretty much nil.

    Baltimore, MD (BWI)
    • Find the observation lounge. There are power outlets in the pillars.
    • The new Vino Volo wine bar and restaurant in the new Southwest Airlines in Concourse A has tables with a two outlets at each table. It's right past Phillips Seafood restaurant.
    
    Barcelona, Spain In TV for passangers. Terminal A, B (23 gate) and C.

    • Numerous spots on the wall. Both Swiss and French types. In the Easyjet gate area (gates 70-89) there are two just by the steps down from the other gates and one just by the arcade games on the other side of the duty free shop. There are probably others further on.

    • Terminal D has some outlets by the wall, at floor level.
    
    Birmingham, AL (BHM)
    • Unsure of power outlet status, but the airport has free Wifi connection to the Internet.
    
    Boise, Idaho (BOI)
    • There's a business center at the bottom of the stairs down to the

    • Can't tell you about power outlets, but the airport has free Wifi connection to the Internet. The Wifi is great for connecting to the Internet while you wait. You can enjoy to pass your time while waiting.
    
    
    Boston, MA
    • Logan has several phone card vending machines which are plugged into dual outlets. The second AC jack is exposed, but you may want to bring a thin extension card because a blocky power adapter won't fit.
    • There are some tables with outlets near the wall in the dining areas (near Sbarro, Starbucks, etc.), but the cord will go across a walkway, so make sure it's long enough to lay on the ground so you don't trip anybody.
    • Terminal A has many benches with power plugs (and power plug logos), but some are out of order. Choose one with a power indicator that is lit.
    • If your flight leaves from a lower level terminal (i.e. near the ground), there are a couple plugs behind the rows of seats. You may have to push the seats out a couple inches to get to them though.
    • Logan, Terminal C (Mainly JetBlue) has lots of plugs at the gates now. They are actually build into many of the seats.
    Bradley International (BDL) Hartford/Springfield In Terminal B just before the news stand and down the ramp by the phone, there is an outlet. There is also another outlet across from it on the side with the bathrooms, partly taken up by a "charging station."
    
    Buenos Aries, EZE Airport
    • In Terminal A, go upstairs. You will see a travelator. At the beginning of the travelator (from the side closest to the store, Alma Pampa), look up, to your right. You will see a black speaker. Follow the cord from the speaker down the pillar, and you will find 2 power outlets.
    • If you go to the left of Gate 2 (Departures) there is an AMEX lounge. Just show them your AMEX card and you walk right in. They have a huge lounge, many outlets and free Internet Access. They also have a full bar, snacks and many other spiffs!

    Burlington, VT (BTV)
    • On the second floor the skyway that attaches the terminal to parking garage is long usually empty and has numerous rocking chairs to relax in. The all glass structure overlooks the runways and Camel's Hump, very nice. All along the baseboard are power outlets. Wi-Fi is cheap though out terminal.

    Charlotte, North Carolina (CLT):
    • In between all concourses, there's a large food court and shopping mall with moving sidewalks along the windows. They're provided large rocking chairs (?!) and power outlets next to the indoor foliage, along the inner side of the moving sidewalks. WiFi Status: Free around the food court. coming to the rest of the airport soon.
    
    Charlottesville, VA (CHO)
    • Downstairs gates: there are a few outlets on poles, but they're inconvenient to the seats. Much better: there are seats across from Gate 1 with power at the end. WiFi status: free, works all over. ]
    
    Chicago, IL, Midway (MDW)
    • The phone rooms have at least two outlets which are rarely in use. The gate waiting areas also have one to two outlets, but they are often occupied.
    • Concourse A - Power outlet by the water fountains outside of Hudson's Book Corner. Tables available.
    • Concourse B - Six seats with power along the wall between gates B10 and B12. 48 leather chairs between B20 and B21 at the end of concourse B, plus wheelchair accommodations. All have 120VAC and USB plugs.
    • WiFi status: for pay; reception throughout.
    
    Chicago, IL, O'Hare International (ORD)

    • Difficult: near gate C1 there are outlets on the wall near the phone banks - but no juice. There are untested outlets right on the podiums and near some of the arrival/departure screens.
    • Across the aisle from the Starbucks at C2 there are a couple of chairs. Behind them you will find an outlet.
    • At gate C16 on the main aisle there is a telephone sign. Under the telephone sign is a plug with 2 outlets.
    • At gate C11 there is a Arrival Flight Information sign. Under that sign is a plug with 2 outlets.
    • E13 there is an outlet near the water fountain and a starbucks 30 yards away
    • United Gates : There is also an outlet on the side of the gate checkin desk
    • Look for the ATM machines near the gates. Usually there's one spare outlet at the back. You'll have to sit with your back to the gate.
    • If your gate has a water fountain, look underneath it. There should be an outlet with 1 open socket. It might not be near your gate, but there's normally a nice seat right next to it.
    • The connecting walkway between H and K has 6 outlets next to the electric carts
    • On the left side of the door to the jetway at gate L3 (next to pay phones) there is one outlet
    • Terminal 3 - Gate K4 - There is a floor outlet on the right side of the get, next to the windows and the gate itself
    
    Cincinnati, OH, and Northern Kentucky (CVG)
    
    
    • In Terminal C there is a laptop recharging counter with stools by gates C20 - 39 (over by the Qdoba restaurant). The C1 - 19 gate area also has a laptop recharging counter. Each counter has about 6 stools. The laptop counter by gates C20 - 39 is close to a row of seats so you can sit in them if the counter has no room. The entire Terminal C has free WiFi.
    
    Cleveland, OH, Hopkins Airport (CLE)
    
    
    • Good outlet availability, mostly near pay phones and for-rent internet terminals (you get a chair if you use the latter. Wall outlets at the gates are less plentiful.
    • You can mooch the free WiFi from the Continental President's Club towards the end of Concourse C, across from where Burger King used to be, but you have to be very close
    
    Columbus, OH, Port Columbus International (CMH)
    
    
    • Just announced addition of lots of extra outlets for people to plug in their gadgets
    • Adding "Surfboard" style table with plugs setup to use laptops comfortably
    • Wi-fi is and will continue to be free

    Dallas-Fort Worth, TX (DFW):
    • One of the terminals in Dallas has a starbucks with an adjoining room that features a bar where you can plug in and pull up a stool. I think it was the C terminal. There online guide lists Starbucks near C8 and C27.
    • Two outlets near Skylink C1-20 stop in terminal C, at bottom of escalators near elevator
    • There is a Starbucks/Lounge between B28 and B29.
    • Pretty scarce around A37. A38 across from 'Ropin Ridin' has some by the windows behind the announcement desk. (2007 02 26)
    
    Dallas Love Field, TX (DAL):
    • Southwest Airlines started testing free power stations, with 5 outlets each, at Gates 12 and 14 on Ja. 5, 2007. Go to the Southwest blog and let them know you want them to expand this to all their airports!!
    
    Dayton Airport, OH, USA (DAY)
    • Free WiFi is no longer available.
    • Most columns have an outlet and there are numerous outlets behind seats along the walls.
    Denver, Colorado, USA (DEN)
    • T-Mobile WiFi leaks from the United Red Carpet club if you can get close enough.
    • Conveniently located on every big silver pillar, often right next to the end of a row of seats in the departure lounge.
    • On the mezzanine in the middle of Concourse B, there is a Qwest Business Center with about 8 desks, all of which have power outlets.
    • Concourse C Silver pillar at gate C36 is located conveniently next to a row of seats. Upstairs in center of concourse there is T Mobile Wi-fi leaks from Admiral's club, occasionally there are some chairs scattered that you can move to the outlets upstairs.
    Also upstairs waiting area near Frontier gates have chairs, some privacy and a reasonable number of outlets. venin de albine Detroit, Michigan (DTW):
    • Wifi provided by Boingo, $7.95/day.
    • NWA/McNamara World Terminal: Power outlets in most of the gate areas. You can find them on some of the stainless steel support pillars or next to the windows. Most of the gate areas I've sat in have 1-2 outlets.
    • McNamara Baggage Claim: near the exit doors at Carousel 1 (and presumably some others)
    • Smith Terminal: NEW "Laptop Pitstop" workstations are located near gates A 7, A 11, B 3, C 4, C 11 (post security). There are four outlets per station, along with a semi private booth and small desk and seat. Each location has multiple seats/stations. Also, there is a similar "Laptop Pitstop" (just a folding table and chairs near several power outlets) pre security in the corridor behind US Airways and Spirit ticket counters.
    • Wifi is provided in NWA lounges and is available in the terminal area around them. At DTW they are not secured. The best place to use them is C terminal where they have placed nice soft chairs right by the door!
    
    Des Moines, IA (Des Moines International - DSM):
    • Gate A1: When facing the agent stand, the wall on the far left has one power outlet near the end of the rows of seats, near the windows.
    • Gate A2: When facing the agent stand, the wall on the far right has two power outlets near the ends of the rows of seats, one near the windows and one near the concourse hall.
    • Gates C1 and C2: When facing C1, there are two power outlets to your left, one on the wall in the gate area, the other in the hallway leading to other gates and baggage claim. Gate C2 has the outlets in the same position, but on the right as you face the gate. Each gate area outlet is located close to the entry to the gate, making the surrounding seats coveted positions.

    Dublin, Ireland (Dublin International Airport - DUB ):
    • In the airside departures areas
    • Pier B (the only circular pier, oldest of the airport gate areas): At the Gate Clock bar: turn left in the main bar door, look for tables on the left: the table just past the elevator has a pair of sockets near it on the bar side. Please note that the left-hand socket is broken / has something jammed in it.
    • Pier D: in the Cú Bar near gate 65: The space is divided into a left-hand bar and sales area and right-hand "lounge" side. Stand in the door of the right-hand lounge area and look toward the far end of the room, where
    
    the flat-screen TV is. The powerpoints / sockets are nearly down at the end of the room on the runway-side wall, more or less underneath a stuffed stag's head hanging high on that wall. The only useful seating for these sockets is right up against the end wall.

  • First floor landside catering area, power sockets underneath the seating
  • Airside, power sockets to be found in the booth seating at Wetherspoons and also at .
  • Paid wifi from t-mobile and BT Openzone available throughout. British Airways lounge has free wifi (also via BT Openzone) which, helpfully, can be picked up from immediately outside the lounge, or, on a good day, even from EAT landside, or the booths in Wetherspoons airside.

  Fresno, California (FAT): Sockets are located at the end of the terminal on the walls opposite the bathrooms. One of them is next to the custodian closet

  • Gate C-1: on the poles next to the television monitors and against the wall (WiFi status:Free, all around)
  
  Fort Myers, Florida (RSW):
  • (WiFi status:Free, all around, even reaches the arrivals curb)
  
  Frankfurt, Germany (FRA):
  • Second Floor in the Non-Schengen Airside area (passport needed to get in), Beside the emergency exit next to McDonalds. Behind the table a bit away from the McDonald's counter itself. On the other side of the counter there is also another socket underneath some advertising. This can be used from the table just around the corner. These are popular sockets. (WiFi status:Free for one/two hours by T-Mobile fnews application)
  • B departure gates: you'll find power outlets inside the gates, two on either side of the pay phones and some of the gates have 'desks' for laptops with power outlets.
  • Second Floor, restaurant (can't recall the name). In the smoking section, the tables away from the windows with floor lamps. These lamps can be unplugged and the power used. Of course, you have to purchase a food item to sit there.

      The T Mobile wifi desks have power hidden on them UK 3 pin plugs. Also the pub next to the BA lounge has a non standard socket that works with european (round pin) style plugs.

      In Giraffe restaurant, on the table nearest the washrooms. In the corridors leading to any men’s washroom.
      
      There are 2-pin Euro/North American 110 volt shaver outlets within men’s washrooms.
      
      
      • Terminal 3, go to the overflow seating area behind the duty free shops. Go straight ahead as you enter the departure area through all the shops. Good seating, air-conditioned, two internet terminals (neither working) power outlet on your left about half way down.
      
      
      • Terminal 4: In bench areas, look for floor hatches in the carpet. Near gate 7 (used to be the BA Serenity Lounge) there are power sockets near the windows in the seating area's opposite of the toilets. No free WiFi, but T Mobile hotspots.
      
      
      • Terminal 5: Many ventilation columns and pilars have one power socket embedded (gate floor). Not many are really situated for use while seated. Many power sockets in the seating area behind the EAT outlet on the main departures level (sockets at floor level below the bench seats).
      Helsinki Vantaa, Finland (HEL)
      
      
      • Sockets are practically everywhere for cleaning staff usage, however you can use it as well. It's not difficult to find a chair next to it, especially in the area of the gates. I prefer Gate 26 because it is right after the security check and has a cafe next to it. You can also find Alexanderi Cafe which has also a couple of plugins if you are lucky.
      • Internet is free of charge, just accept the terms for the network.

      • Lots of outlets, only some work. Working ones are marked with a blue plastic ad above them for Chase Bank that say, "This Outlet Works, now you can too" courtesy of Jason Pearce) or "You and your laptop can sigh with relief now".       • At the end of the main part of the JetBlue terminal, there is a ring of plugs.
      • In the secondary part of the JetBlue terminal, there are plugs randomly scattered about on the walls.
      • Outlets along the tables outside the International Food Hall in front of Gate 9
      • In the center of each pod of gates at T6 is a large circle bench around a central stairwell. There is generally abundant (though akward) seating and power outlets along the top.
      • Lots of outlets in T7 down by the departure gates and cafe bar areas.
      
      Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), Nairobi, Kenya
      • Outlet in the walkway beside the row of taxfree shops. Bring your own adapter.
      • Outlets by the drinks fridges in a couple
      of the small reataurants.
    • Free Wifi was out of service as at Feb 2006
    • Kenya Airways (KQ) has wifi in their Simba Lounge. I wasn't flying with them, but sat outside in hall and used it. Didn't see power though.

    • Check for outlets under the pay phones in the departure lounges.
    • Terminal A, seating area between gates 14 & 15 (outside of secured area). Outlets are located under the seats.
    • Free Wi-Fi.
    • Terminal B, Gate 58, underneath seats attached to pillar
    
    Kuala Lumpur International Airport
    • They have a free internet booth near the very last gate.
    • Also Plug-ins are available Through Out the Airport, but their cybercafe is very cheap to call anywhere in the world.

    • US Airways terminal, upstairs and across from the counters, there are large white pillars, many of which have outlets at their base. Inside the US Airways Shuttle gate, the setup is akin to a business lounge with cubicles and couches, with many outlets.
    
    
    • Delta terminal. While old and well, rather nasty, there are clusters of plugs in most of the gate areas, although sometimes they're concealed by the rows of 70s era seating. You have to be careful however, a few of the sockets don't even work, although usually one of the two or one of the four (sockets) will provide power. Don't forget the technician's secret: wiggle that plug!
    
    Las Vegas, NV USA (LAS)
    
    
    • McCarran Int'l Airport provies FREE WiFi throughout! (simply open a browser first, and click "Agree" on their default page and it will give you an IP address)
    
    Terminal 1 / Main building
    
    
    • Gate C5, wall opposite the outdoor windows, a couple of feet to the right of the hallway containing bathrooms and the official charging station (which is always packed), a foot off the ground: 2 3-pronged outlets. Both outlets are missing the springy bumps that hold plugged in items in place, but they work none-the-less.
    
    
    • A wall of power outlets in a hall going toward gates C1-C25. About 10 of them, 4.5 feet up from the wall. The outlets at C1 are on the side of the walls that face the shuttle train.
    
    
    • Throughout D terminal, there are power outlets set into the floor, scattered about. All conveniently by seating areas. Usually behind the columns along the walkway and against the walls/windows. This is how it should be at ALL the airports.
    
    Terminal 2 / International
    
    
    • Power spread around the terminals, some near the seats. Open, free 802.11g with email address entry to confirm reading acceptable use policy.
    
    
    • By the Hawaiian Air ticket counter, go right and look for the stairway. Power at the base of the stairs, right around the corner from some seats.
    
    
    • At the Hawaiian Air gate waiting area, power by the window nearest the gate and on the wall farthest from the gate.
    
    Long Island MacArthur Airport, Islip, NY (ISP)

Look toward the back of this area (in the direction of the checkin area at the rear of this part of the terminal. There are at least two sets of outlets in the pillars on the outside of the bar wall. This is the only place where there are outlets next to seats.       Manila Airport; Ninoy Aquino Airport: Terminal Two Terminal Two is the main international terminal that visitors use when entering or leaving. It's a large modern building but security is very heavy and you can't enter without a valid ticket and passport.
      
      Once you've cleared all the security checks and Immigration, you will find several 6 to 7 meter long tables with stools set up every hundred metres or so inside the main departure terminal that you can plug your laptop into while waiting for your flight. This service is also thankfully 100% free, but they can get very busy during peak times. I did not see if there were any such outlets outside though.

      Munich International Airport, Munich, Germany: company
      • Along the windows at all the main gates, there are radiator pipes. If you follow the pipes, you will see some pipes come out of the radiators and go down into the floor. There is power behind these pipes. These are standard european power sockets. The radiators are close to the seating for the gates (close enough that the power cord can reach the seats.
      • In the Terminal 1 C area I don't see any radiator plugs, but there are a few plugs spaced out a long ways along the windows at the gates, within range of the seats at some gates (C08 and probably many more), also there are plugs in some smaller hallways leading to the washrooms, though no seats.
      • The Kempinski Hotel lobby (between Terminals 1&2 i.e. outside security) has a number power strips and ethernet jacks (free internet if you have an ethernet cable) on the LHS as you face reception. This is by a cafe and NOT in the business center. The power jacks support both UK and European plugs and I think there are some US ones.]
      • 1 hour of free wifi at the McDonalds (IF you have a German cellphone number to receive the SMS with access code). Connect to tmobile hotspot in the McDonalds and click on the Happy Hour image, then enter your German cell number, and check the first checkbox and submit, then get the PIN off your phone and input it on the page and submit and you're rolling. Upstairs on the pole at the top of the stairs Wifi is provided through a AT&T RADIUS/web-auth scheme. $7.95 for 24 hours access. Scandalous bastards. Lower level, live outlet, two plugs on wall across from the women's bathroom under the eastern escalator.
      • Inconvenient but possible: some of the departure lounges near the food court (e.g. C132-133) have outlets at the edge of the carpeting on the floor. Better, look for any gate that has no huge glass wall, and drag one of the seating units nearer to a power outlet in the outer wall. Gates like C80 have some outlets on the outer wall, halfway across the row of windows, concealed behind the seats.
      • Sometimes you can sit near one of the ticketcounters or storefronts and if the people are nice (or if you seem desperate enough) they'll let you plug in. Very uncomfortable.
      • Also look on the floor near some of the seating units inbetween gates - there are at least 2 available outlets at the beginning of the C3 terminal.
      • Some of the gates have Samsung Charging stations installed as stand alone kiosks in between the seats, confirmed sighting in both Terminal A and C at domestic gates, unsure about Terminal B and international gates.

      • Terminal 1 In the non-Schengen area there are spare outlets next to the arcade games by gates B39 41.
      • Terminal 2 (Air France/Easyjet) has one that I know of airside by the toilets opposite gate A11. It is hidden next to a seat in a cream plastic box. There may be other similar cream plastic boxes but I haven't found any in the non-schenger area (Easyjet to England part) so don't go through passport control until you need to.

      • There are several outlets behind/among the benches at the far end of the baggage claim.
      • There are outlets near the gates, in the waiting areas, below the windows overlooking the planes. If you have a long enough cord you might be able to reach the first row of seats, but watch the out for tripping people. Otherwise sit on the window ledge or the floor.
      • Great power plug spot (6 outlets) in Terminal 2, across from the Men's room by the Round Table Pizza
      • Almost all of the open power plugs in the Oakland airport are on the floor, they look like brass circles. Don't go scratching your head looking for wall outlets.
      • Sprint PCS offers wireless connectivity at Oakland for $9.95 for a day pass.
      • In Terminal 2, directly across from the kiosk between Gate 5 and Gate 7, there is a receptacle with two plugs to the left of the Round Table seating area. It is right next to a bench so you don't have to drag cords.

      • Concourse C, near gate C17, in the floor in walkway. There are some seats that have been moved out of the Gate area. You can reach the power outlet in the floor from one of them.
      • Gate C30-31: every 10m along the exterior wall.
      • Gates E 1-10 (Southwest/Delta): Look for the green lockers on either side of the main corridor. Under each are a pair of outlets.

      • The large common area right after security has a plugin on the wall over by the wheelchair storage that you can drag a chair too. There are several more outlets in the floor around there but they are recessed about an inch, so depending on your plug, it won't fit.
      • There are a few outlets at the gates: on the poles with payphones, and obvious ones at the base of pillars, and in corners.
      • The airport has free WiFi.

      • B Concourse: There are a bunch of white pillars along the windows. Every 5 they hit a corner and often there is a dual outlet, most of the ones I've seen are silver.
      • Saw a dude using one on the pilars right behind the security checkpoint. TSA didn't bitch.
      • A Concourse at the very end in the area of A12, A13, A14 (Delta primarily) is the Mountain Room Bar. You can seat yourself. In the outside "corral" area of the bar at the very end towards A14, the last two person table, is a double power outlet. Sit, eat, drink, and power.
      • In the C concourse there is a Starbucks with power outlets. They are located under the sofa part.

      Terminal 2
      • Power outlets available only at SOME boarding gates. You will usually find people gathering around. Must sit on the floor or use nearby chairs if not taken. Outlets are very rare and hard to find (I disagree - both my boarding gates in 1 and 2 had some and...)
      There are several outlets behind/among the benches at the far end of the baggage claim. Most gates have a trash can, behind which there is a twin outlet. Upstairs on the pole at the top of the stairs Wifi is provided through a AT&T RADIUS/web-auth scheme. $7.95 for 24 hours access. Scandalous bastards. Lower level, live outlet, two plugs on wall across from the women's bathroom under the eastern escalator. There are power outlets every few metres in open areas - not sure if airport security would tell you to move on or not.
      
      
      • There is also a small internet room with 2 or 3 outlets, and weak WiFi signal. All for FREE if you can squeeze in line.
      • Free WiFi in some other parts of the airport, especially in the food area. Look for the coffee shop and several noodle bars clustered together. Sadly though, absolutely NO power outlets here.
      • Go to the food court near the transit hotel on L4. Free wifi and two power outlets in the 'booth' area.
      • Free Internet kiosks scattered around as well.
      
      Terminal 1
      • WiFi and free desktop usage available in a small internet room. Outlets are available inside, but the room is only large enough for 2 or 3 people.
      NOTE: This terminal is so old, dirty, and generally lame, many people just walk to Terminal 2 during their layover.
      
      Toronto, Canada (YYZ)
      
      
      • T1: Near gate 142, outlets are in the carpet under hatches at the ends of the rows of seats.
      
      
      • T2: Power on the pillars, at least in the Rapidair/USA area. Elsewhere, maybe in the phone kiosks. Gate 206 has several round outlets built into the carpet not far from the podium. Around Gate 210, there is no power - the ports on the wall are central vacuum. Free wireless is offered in the Air Canada Maple Leaf lounge, accessible in the areas surrounding the lounge as well.

      • Single outlet (local plugs only) under each public telephone in the 4 gate areas; inconvenient to seats. Gates by the airport windows do not have telephones, hence no power, but the terminal is small enough that you can sit a few gates back and plug in. In central plaza, one can find metalic cafe-style chairs and tables next to gray marble platforms. Each marble platform has a single outlet, that can be used while sitting at the tables. No purchase necessary. Free wifi throughout the terminal.

There are Multiple Outlets available on a column located in the cafe bar area located between the two escalators and overlooking the Check-in area itself.       • International arrivals & transit: Look for the pillars with the semicircular metal hoops near their bases: outlets are there. ***NOTE: Not all of those outlets are functioning (those near gate E87 in USA departures area were not working on 2008-11-10).
      
      
      • B-16: Only one outlet available. It's at the window that looks over the boarding ramp, roughly dead centre on the supporting beam.
      
      
      • C gates corridor: Look at the corner where C36 meets the corridor; also, the external wall near C35, especially in those little bay window niches. Avoid radiators. Elsewhere, look near the shoeshine stand and anywhere an electric buggy is parked.
      
      
      • Gate C46: There is an outlet on one of the posts across from the gate, but it's usually used by the vendor right beside it. There are a couple on the window radiator.
      
      
      • Gates C46-C47: Between gates C46 and C47, there's an outlet under the Telus phone card vending machine. One outlet is free (the other used by the machine). There are also some along the window radiator.

      • There are two power outlets below the Fire Hose by the toilets near to Departure Gate A8. It might be a little difficult to use them when the gates are busy , but not impossible.
      
      
      • There are quite a lot of power outlets on the way to gate C 31-75. You can find them very easily at the waiting rows opposing the shops of Swarovski, swatch etc. I'm not sure about other gates, but I guess it's the same there.

      • Free WiFi in 2006! (wasn't working consistently in 2005). Look in the very back corners by the windows. Each corner has a small cylinder-shaped table with power. There may also be an Ethernet cable dangling from the same table, but I haven't found that it works in

      • WiFi is no longer free there as of my last visit there in July 2006. There are 3 companies that provide paid WiFi, but I wasn't able to connect to any (connections timed out, or I needed a phone that could receive SMS messages), so I was out of luck.
      • I haven't had any problems with the PlusGSM wifi connection here, in October of 2006. I connected, created an account, paid 15 PLN (for 900 minutes) on a credit card, and was on my way. Power outlets are definitely difficult to find, but considering how poorly designed the airport is, that isn't too surprising so you could do.

    • Two power outlets between gate agents' desk and windows. Convenient to seats. Free wifi throughout terminal. Also, Outlet on inside of outer wall between the Bar and Burger King in B Terminal, underneath the gaming machines.
    
    
    • In C concourse there is a power strip attached to the side of the wooden Public Phone booths next to gate C1.There are about 6 outlets so everyone has plenty of power. Charge your phone too while you're at it. Free WiFi as noted above throughout the entire airport.

    • At the boarding gates, near the washrooms there is a power outlet, right underneath the change machine, which is used to power to it. One socket is occupied by the change machine, but the other is nearly always available. It's a standard European plug.
    
    Windhoek (Hosea Kutako), Namibia (WDH)
    • Bording area: On both ends of the airport side of the bording area, are sockets. One behind the post box on the right, one under the fire hydrant on the left. Some shops also have sockets just inside their doorways. ZA style plugs
    • WiFi available at the cafe, NAD (or ZAR) 20 buys you 45 minutes.
    • Gate 14 (Continental Airlines) has a recharging station with two desks and outlets. Also, between Gates 12 and 14 there are two outlets where there used to be several wall-mounted phones. Note that the outlets on the concourse by Gate 14 do NOT work.
